Jordan Love Joins Favre’s Thanksgiving Legacy With 4-TD Game

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love delivered a performance for the history books on Thanksgiving — leading the Packers to a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, throwing four touchdown passes and cementing his place alongside franchise legend Brett Favre.

Love finished 18-of-30 for 234 yards while spreading the ball to key targets. Wide Dontayvion Wicks hauled in two of those TDs as he racked up 94 yards on six catches. Christian Watson added a 51-yard touchdown bomb, showcasing the Packers’ deep-ball punch.

The fourth-quarter climax came down to Wicks securing a clutch fourth-and-three catch under pressure, sealing the victory for Green Bay as Detroit mounted a late push.

That four-TD outing marks the most by a Packers quarterback on Thanksgiving Day since Brett Favre accomplished the feat back in 2007.

With this win, Love improves to 3-0 in Thanksgiving games — a mark no other current Packers QB holds.

Green Bay now sits at 8-3-1, positioning themselves as serious contenders in the NFC North and putting them firmly back in the playoff conversation.
